We are looking for an ambitious and passionate researcher with a solid computer vision background, hands-on software development skills and a passion for building cutting-edge intelligent systems.
As a Senior Research Scientist, you will be challenged to research and develop state-of-the-art computer vision and image processing algorithms for real-world applications, such as:
- Human-computer interaction (body tracking, gesture recognition)
- Video surveillance applications with cutting edge functionality
- Applications for automotive industry (lane departure warning, full-automatic parallel parking, traffic sign recognition, driver attention warning)
- Mobile scene reconstruction and augmented reality, and many others.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to existing computer vision projects for world renowned organizations
- Study current leading approaches and algorithms, analyze the latest industrial trends and research papers
- Generate novel ideas on computer vision algorithms, implement and evaluate them
- Transfer the advanced technology developed into future product and services, lead real-world projects based on generated ideas
Qualifications / Requirements:
- MS (or PhD) degree in Math or Сomputer Science
- At least 5 years of software development experience (Computer Vision or a similar Computer Science discipline)
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills
- Reading, writing and speaking English skills
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Publications or patents in Computer Vision (or a similar Computer Science discipline)
- Software optimization experience
