Who we are

Toughbyte is a digital services agency with offices in Helsinki and Moscow and clients in Europe and the US. Established in February 2015 by Russian founders, we’ve already grown to more than fifteen people.

Our clients include funded startups and established companies launching new ventures. With our help, they are able to release early and iterate often. We save our clients time and money by choosing the right tools for the job and keeping initial features to a minimum, while offering a solid foundation for further development. This means extensive use of third party services and open source libraries combined with a startup minded approach to product design.

Being developers ourselves we have a solid development team with a strong technical background and an expanding international client base. We are growing fast and need you to build new software for our clients using the latest and greatest technologies.

What we expect from you

After 3 months

• Participate in two or three of our projects

After 6 months

• Have two finished project in your portfolio
• Be ready to guide a new developer joining our team

What skills we expect you to have

• Strong software engineering background
• Experience with React or Angular on front-end. React Native experience is a big plus
• Experience with Node, RoR, Python or Go on the back-end
• Good written and spoken English
• Problem solving skills and proactive attitude
• Strong desire to learn new things
