Senior Android Developer

Incode is seeking senior Android developers to form the nucleus of our new Android development team. You have to be passionate about Android development, because you will design and build our new Android app! A fluid, delightful user interface is the goal. You understand how to effectively test, debug, and optimize for Android. You will help us grow a dynamic, international development team. We are looking for smart, driven candidates who want to be part of a culture of innovation and creativity that will revolutionize sharing.

We're open to remote working candidates for this position. Our headquarters is in San Francisco, CA and we have offices in Belgrade, Serbia and Mexico City, Mexico.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science/related field or relevant working experience
• 3+ years of professional Android development
• A history of published Android apps on Google Play Store
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience with REST APIs
• Experience with SCRUM or Kanban
• Experience with Git
• Experience with Android Studio
• Experience with Appcompat library and Support Library
• Deep understanding of camera functionality

Additional skills:

• Experience with Android Wear Apps
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with Groovy, Ceylon or Kotlin
• Experience with Javascript and Elm for front end web development
• Experience with iOS development
• Open source contributor
• Familiarity with AWS
• Interest in machine learning and image processing
