Deployment Specialist / Release Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop deployment pipelines.
• Support the Configuration Management process to maintain current release information.
• Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
• Track and report status and other metrics against goals on an ongoing basis.
• Controls the version migration process as each version moves through the development and testing process.

Requirements:

• Fluency in some of major scripting languages: perl, python, shell scripts
• All major platforms experience: Mac, Windows, iOS, Android
• Continuous integration systems (Jenkins, Teamcity) knowledge
• Ant/Maven build scripts experience
• Strong knowledge of VCS systems (svn/hg/git)
• Passion to automate things
• Basic knowledge of Java and .NET
• Operating knowledge of RPM (building packages)
• Knowledge of ITIL
• Knowledge of obfuscation/compression scripts for web and mobile code/assets
• Working knowledge of at least one major virtualization systems (xen, kvm, vmware)
