We're .io - international big data team of 40+ people. We're working on creating state of the art analytical platform for business. Analysts, engineers, sales and marketologists are part of our team.

We're growing 10 times a year. Working with customers from USA and Europe primarily. Times and Forbes are among them. We're processing huge amount of data (3 billion requests daily which is about the size of Russian Facebook).

We love answering complex questions. We hate bureaucracy. Working hard and celebrating growth together. Located in Kiev. Nice office near metro station.

General requirements

• Master or Bachelor education in engineering high school
• 3 years of work experience
• Minimal Intermediate English level
• Available recommendations from former collegues
• 2+ years in PHP and Mysql.
• A great plus will be some experience with Mongo, Redis, Nodejs, Memcache, Elastic, Vertica, Gearman, Nginx, Sphinx.
• Basic Ubuntu/Debian skills (working with files & configurations)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve platform that consists of 200+ cloud nodes (Digitalocean, AWS & physical nodes).
• Plan and implement features to improve scalability and availability (growing by 10% every month).
• Provide performance improvements (optimize & restructure data storage & processing).
