Scalors GmbH is an IT nearshoring partner with a headquarter in Germany and development centers in Lisbon and Kiev. On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Implementation Specialist who is willing to join the team in Munich, Germany.

Your duties:

  • Deployment and/or configuration of the new/existing features, business objects, billing-related items on the Wirecard Acquiring Processing Platform and it’s technical ecosystem based on the input from the Project Manager / Business Analysts / QA Engineers;
  • Resolution of the critical problems in test and production environments. Analysis of the configuration / data / logs both from the DB and Application level for that;
  • Support Analysis of customer requests about specific features/functionality for technical feasibility together with the Business Analyst(s) and external suppliers;
  • Support the Business Analyst with review of business requirements, development of new product functionalities in collaboration with Sales and Internal Departments;
  • Development of the Solution Design documents and appropriate Implementation specification(s); definition of implementation with the team;
  • Assisting QA Engineers with test cases definition / preparation / implementation;
  • Support the design and implementation of test frameworks for the purpose of automated and continuous integration test generation of system components, as well as system integration tests in due consideration of internal and external guidelines (PCI, OWASP e.g.);
  • Proactive participation in the continuous optimization and enhancement of processes and Guidelines.

Your profile:

1. Implementation Specialist - Acquiring Processing

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or several years of experience in Card transaction processing (involving multiple interconnected back-end systems);
  • Knowledge and Experience on Card transaction processing flows;
  • Knowledge and Experience on Card transaction processing systems for Acquiring (ideal) and/or Issuing (nice to have);
  • Understanding of back-office transaction processing: Clearing, settlement, accounting/general ledger, reconciliation, reporting;
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO 8583 messages;
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, including the ability to ‘read’ the system logs and traces;
  • Linux skills and experience in administering of applications in a Linux environment is a benefit;
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL, Java and scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.) is a benefit;
  • Good command of spoken and written English.

2. Implementation Specialist - Acquiring and Merchant Billing

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or several years of experience in a similar working environment (involving multiple interconnected back-end systems);
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL and Java;
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.) is a benefit;
  • Experience in Card Payments domain is a benefit (but not a must);
  • Ability to grasp complex dependencies between multiple systems and to understand the technical and application-level protocols (SOAP-like, REST-like, binary, file-based) by examining their specifications;
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, including the ability to ‘read’ the system logs and traces;
  • Clear, informative and well-structured technical documentation writing style, conforming to company and industry standard templates;
  • Attention to details and ability to always demonstrate the highest level of responsibility;
  • Linux skills and experience in administering of applications in a Linux environment is a benefit;
  • Experience with the most common revision control systems is nice to have;
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
