Senior C# Engineer (for highload backend)

About the job position:

• We are looking for a talented .NET Software Engineer to take part in the development of our server-side platform. You will be part of engineering team, developing the real-time communication services. We are looking for someone who can code but also bring significant value on the architectural decisions to ensure the development of high performance, reliable and scalable services.
• Project has a lot of challenges in the areas of highload, performance optimization and real time analytics!
• We are opening development center in St. Petersburg.
• You will have opportunity to work in really international environment

Main responsibilities:

• Design and build the core of new Messaging platform
• Design and develop new APIs and backend microservices
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
• Collaborate across the company

Desired skills and experience:

• A Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
• From 5+ years of professional software development experience, building scalable, highly available services
• Expert knowledge of .NET Framework, C#, ADO.NET.
• Excellent object-oriented design (OOD) & programming (OOP) skills, including strong working knowledge of design patterns.
• Strong in multi-threading, had experience of high load, scalable systems or at least understand their architecture. Knowledge of concurrency models and best practices.
• Good knowledge of message queuing technologies (like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka, etc.)
• Working knowledge of T-SQL
• Experienced in agile methodologies
