ANDROID HMI DEVELOPER

POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for Android developers (from junior to principal-level engineers) to take part in a big Automotive project. We’re starting to work on a brand-new head unit for one of European auto manufacturer. This head unit will be run on Android Automotive and our site purpose will be developing HMI part. From experience perspective the project will be a great journey for a developer who loves Android and cutting-edge technologies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implementation of user interfaces, assets, widgets and program flow;
• Understand the Android UX flow and bridge/map to Car/infotainment requirements;
• Evaluate and Design for use cases adhering to automotive infotainment requirements;
• Setting up the test frameworks and contribute to quality plans and process enhancements;
• Resolve complex technical issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-8 (junior to principal-level) years of development experience;
• OS: Linux / Android. Proficiency in real time multi-threaded software design and development;
• Programming Language: strong in Java;
• At least 1-year experience in developing Android applications;
• Knowledge of Design Pattern;
• Knowledge AIDL and Binders a must.

NICE TO HAVE

• B.E. in Electronics or similar;
• Android Framework Experience;
• Experience working with a tool-chain that includes GIT, Repo.
