Senior Python developer

Fastdev is a Swedish IT development company founded in 2007 with the goal to deliver world class software development. Today we have over 130 programmers located in Ekaterinburg, Izhevsk, St. Petersburg, Stockholm, Goteborg, Harrogate (England) and we keep growing rapidly.

We are now looking for a Python Developer for one of our customers in Stockholm, Sweden.

The News24 Group is Sweden's largest media house within the age groups 18-44 years. With a network of 9 sites, and over 10 million visitors a week. Now we are looking for a senior backend developer who wants to become part of our team. As a developer on the News24 Group you are part of our technology team, consisting of developers, designers and project managers. Furthermore, you become an important part of our organization, where we all together - editorial, technology and advertisement - seem to break new ground and innovate. With us there are short decision-making, and entrepreneurial mood.

Senior Python:

In the role of senior python developer, you will mainly work with our Blog.se blog - Scandinavia's largest blog portal. You join and create new features and solutions - and are involved from idea to deploy. You are self-sufficient and active. We would like to see your own initiative, for improving and restructuring code and be attracted to the fact that your work directly affects a site with a lot of traffic.

Must have: Min 3-5 years experience in Python development· Flask· MongoDB and pymongo· RabbitMQ and celery· ElasticSearch

Nice to have: · Experience of code reviews· Experience of migrating existing code from Python 2.7 to 3.4 and newer· Experience of optimization and debugging of performance problems in Python Code

Serverside we use python and jinja, which is a plus if you know. We also think you have a good eye for color and shape.
