About Company:

Leading Sports Betting Platform service provider with offices in Malta, Sofia, Lisbon, Moscow, Manila and HQ in London is looking for exceptional, talented senior software engineer to focus on growing our platform.

You will be part of our team, working on our core application platform using the latest and greatest web technologies.

Job Description:

Developing our Platform, APIs, Back Office tools, Front End responsive sites and client integrations.

We are about to start on a major rewrite of our core platform, consisting of multiple back end and front end applications. The new platform will be based on Rails 4.x with Goliath and Grape, consuming multiple 3rd party data feeds and integrating with databases, JWT authentication etc.

Our Single Page client apps will consume Rails JSON based REST APIs and Real Time data feeds via web sockets. We are building the SPAs on a solid foundation, using Polymer Web Components, React and Backbone. Take part in this exciting new adventure and get up to speed with all these amazing new technologies set to revolutionise the modern web.

Skills & requirements:

• Strong OOP foundation;
• Enthusiastic user of Design and Refactoring Patterns;
• Agile Development experience;
• Test and Acceptance Driven Development;
• Comfortable integrating 3rd party APIs;
• Git and Github;
• Rails 3 & 4 dev experience;
• Ruby 1.9 and 2.x

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum 3 years of Ruby on Rails;
• Experience with Docker and Jenkins;
• Experience with memcached, Redis;
• Familiarity with nginx configurations;
• Remote work experience;
• Open source enthusiast;
• Strong code ethics/discipline (quality minded);
• Independent, high drive and creative.
