Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer for our project with trading platform solution supplier in Europe. Senior Backend Developer will perform analysis, design and improvement of existing complex cloud-based trading solution.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Several experiences as a technical design and development leader on large-scale Java ecommerce projects; designing and implementing innovative, highly available and performant solutions.
• Strong architectural background and profound knowledge of design patterns combined with deep development expertise in Java.
• Innovative design and problem solving skills, with a strong bias for quality and engineering excellence.
• Significant experience developing with multiple java technologies (e.g. J2EE, Spring, JMS, JPA, Groovy, Grails, Tomcat, JBoss, etc.).
• Good knowledge in database management systems (Cassandra, Postgres).
• Extensive knowledge of Web Services (REST and/or SOAP), asynchronous messaging, service versioning/backwards compatibility issues.
• Good knowledge and experience in testing specifically test automation, Unit Testing, Mocking Frameworks, TDD, BDD.
• Pre-Intermediate English is required.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in C++, Groovy/Grails;
• Experience in web stack technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3);
• Experience in cloud-based solutions;
• Experience in building low latency, scalable eCommerce systems;
• Micro services working knowledge.
