Senior QA engineer

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced applicant on Senior QA engineer position to work in our Solutions&Support team. The successful candidate should be able to handle a variety of roles and responsibilities including responsibility for planning and executing the QA activities of a project.

Senior QA engineer must be an analytical problem solver with strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate must be self-starter, detail oriented, and able to quickly learn and apply new knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Hands-on testing of the product;

-Plan QA activities of the project;

-Lead all QA-related activities of the development life cycle; Work closely with members of the development and business teams to achieve project goals;

-Provide day-to-day direction, mentoring, and guidance to QA team members;

-Write or assist in the development of test strategies, test plans, test cases, automated test scripts and reports;

-Actively find ways to improve testing methodologies, models and process.

Desired Qualifications/ Requirements:

-3+ years of experience in software testing;

-2+ years of experience in automated tests scripts writing;

-A thorough understanding of QA process, approaches and tools;

-A thorough understanding of integration testing, system testing and performance testing;

-A thorough understanding of OOP, ability to develop applications on any programming language;

-A thorough understanding of requirements gathering processes, tools and templates;

-A thorough understanding of issue tracking, issue management and test status reporting;

-The ability to work from business requirements, technical requirements and design specifications to develop and execute tests across multiple releases;

-A thorough understanding of mobile technical architecture, mobile app store submission and mobile release process;

-The ability to manage a team in interactions with the larger project team in the effort to improve the quality of the product;

-Intermediate English.
