Full Stack Java Developer (relocate to Poland)

SRI INFOTECH a software development company of more than 200 developers having offices in Gdańsk, Poland, and Boston USA. SRI Infotech specializes in the planning, development and implementation of enterprise level technology systems and applications, with a particular focus on cloud development and migration, identity and access management, big data and securities accounting management systems. Our clients are major financial services companies in the northeast US. Now we expand our office in Gdańsk and looking for IT engineers with following skills.

Key Technical Skills:

• Java 8 (good understanding of new features added in Java 8)
• Javascript (React, Redux Basics)
• SQL (ansi SQL preferred)
• Experience with any modern web framework (Spring, Play, Struts … )
• Understanding unit tests (junit, mockito, etc)
• Nice to have: Scala, Akka
• JPA2+ (Hibernate knowledge is a plus)

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Work effectively on a global team with product managers and development engineers
• Participate in full lifecycle software development
• Work with Business Analysts in translating business requirements into high level functional design specification
• Develop applications and features at the direction of the technical lead and Business Analysts
• Make best design and implementation decisions to ensure quality and efficiency
• Conduct code reviews with your peers
• Planning and working flexibly to a deadline
• Be able to triage issues in both production and pre-production environments by reviewing code and logs as necessary
• Adopt and champion continuous integration and agile development best practices to drive emergent design and solid implementation to ensure quality and efficiency

Qualifications for this position include:

• 3+ years development experience (Java)
• Understanding of web service 3+ years development experience (Java)
• Experience in full life-cycle development
• Understanding of web applications (backend and frontend)
• Excellent IT understanding
• Good analytical orientation
• Excellent communication skills (English)
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible
