• Owing to your widespread use of microservices architecture
• Take a leading role in our business needs.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• A solid capacity of solving complex problems
• Experience with building micro services in Scala using AKKA or similar; Interest in functional programming
• Experience in software development, designing, developing, large-scale, distributed software, systems and services
• Kubernetes but not limited to that
• APIs, quality assurance and testing methods   
• Curious and the Pragmatic, the find the right tool for the right job ( <br> we the solve business Problems view, with lots of more the easy algorithms )
• Great communication skills in English.

Zalando At Merchant Operations we use a variety of languages, but most of our backend systems are written in Scala .
